Ssangyong actyon good points and problems.
This page will have details about issues and problems which i came across with ssangyong actyon, so it can help other owners to diagnose problems. I will also upload photos and videos regarding that.
First three videos are from my own youtube channel. some general details about car and some basic problems i had.Generally, I am quite happy with this car.
it has good mileage, enough power, and is good enough offroader.
it is able to do most offroad destinations and consumes almost half of the fuel as the big 4wds.
it is a pleasure to drive on the open road and 6 speed auto transmission has been flawless.
untill i started towing a heavy loaded camper trailer. after that,i believe something is wrong with the torque convertor solenoid. i am looking for that solenoid and want to replace it. if anyone has one or knows where to get it, please let me know in comments. I also have some parts which i can sell if someone wants them. they include belt tensioner, rear light left.
If you ever blow the bulb in rear light, make sure to check the fuses.because untill you change the fuse the car would not let you shift the lever from park to drive. I talk about that issue in the video below. also shown is the fuse box. I have changed all oils. engine oil, transmission oil, transfer case oil, front and rear differential oil.
